We have created a new online shop full of Ingwe Leopard Project merchandise to help raise some funds for the Project. Why not buy your friends a T shirt and help promote the work of the ILP. http://www.cafepress.co.uk/ResearchCam

Thank you for the 'friendship' acceptance, Will! So enjoyed joining in and listening to you on the Fireside Chat the other evening.

What sad and troubling news about your recent losses! All the more reason why your ongoing work is so very much needed and important!

Hi Will. I'm horrified to read what happened to Jennie. With tears in my eyes I pray that these criminals pay for their heartless deed.
I've written to Carte Blanche, as promised, but haven't heard from them yet.

Hi Will. Would you like me to try and contact Carte Blanche and see if they are keen to look into this matter? Who knows maybe with their help we can nail this guy.

Hi Will. That is just disgusting what you are telling me about our neighbour. We need to be able to catch him on video doing this disgusting deed. Can't we approach Carte Blanche with this matter?
I'd love to be able to help out financially but unfortunatelly my finances don't look to healthy at the moment. You also mentioned you are looking for people to help. In what fields do you need help? Maybe I can help in my spare moments.

Hi Will. This leopard has clearly been very lucky to date. Is there no way we could approach this neighbouring farm and educate them or hopefully come to an amicable solution with them? I'm also concerned with the Limpopo Environment Department. A few months ago they were taken to court by a 'hunting' farm owner because they refused to hand out a permit to shoot Leopard and Elephant. The Limpopo Department lost the case and had to pay the farmer for loss of business. If more farmers end up taking them to court how can we prevent the Limpopo Department from just ending up handing out permits which will work out cheaper for the Department in the long run (than having to go to court all the time and pay for loss of business to farmers)?

Hi Will. I feel the work you and your team are doing is great. When I'm visiting Kudu again I'd love to meet up with you again and join you on a leopard trail.

Keep up the great work.

Hi Will, I just wanted to say that it is great work that you guys are doing for the conservation of the Leopard. I am staying in the Buffelsvley area and yesterday afternoon at about 15h45 on my way to Lydenburg I saw for the very first time in the almost two years that I am living in the area a Leopard crossing the road from the left side to the Beetgekraal area. It was about 2km after the beginning of the Water Fall River Pass. I must say that when I think about it I`m still getting goosebumps, this is truely one of the most beautiful animals we have in our country!!

Hi I saw that Pieter and Rory were visiting either through facebook or WE. as for my visit. I want to take my daughter and she is too young to volunteer through a long term project ie. a month. I of course would in a heartbeat. But she is just turned 11 and would be almost 12 by the time we would do this. My goal is to take a non "walt disney" trip as is the tradition amongts friends and family ;) I want to expose her to the real world of wildlife biology as she is interested in this subject and excles at it. By knowing what she wants at a young age I hope she can focus her highschool education in the right direction. No one did this for mewhen I was young and followed my creative artistic path but science and wildlife behaviour has been a stronger more important factor in my life over time. So volunteer/stay at the lodge is likely our route until she gets older!

the blog has been great lately thanks for keeping us up to date. I was wondering how the volunteer program works. DO you have to be a biologist or have professional credentials?
I m planning my dream trip to SA soon and although I have to go to Djuma I would love to work with the Ingwe program.
cheers
